This is the first rung on the PADI ladder it is a full day program starting with some academics first, then some confined water training, followed by 1 open water dive. At the end of the day you receive a certificate. You must upgrade this to Scuba or open water diver within 12 month period.

PADI Scuba Diver Course

This course takes just 2 days to complete and at the end you are a qualified diver licensed to dive to 12 meters with a PADI professional anywhere in the world. You have 3 academic sessions, 3 confined water sessions and 2 open water dives. This certification is yours for life and you can upgrade to open water diver at any time you like.

PADI Open Water Course

This course takes 4 days to complete and at the end you are a qualified diver licensed to dive to 18 meters anywhere in the world independently with a buddy who is the same or higher qualification as yourself.

PADI Advanced Open Water Course
